Hi all! Lucid has recently launched new capabilities to support Agile workflows, making it easier than ever to create product roadmaps.
As a product manager at Lucid, here are a few of the ways I use Lucid during product roadmapping:
- Prioritizing product improvements with Visual Activities: After the team has brainstormed product ideas, I put these into an activity—like an impact versus effort matrix—to get everyone’s take on priorities.
- Visualizing capacity versus workload: With Lucid’s new reporting shapes, I can add a progress bar and workload tracker to my board. These shapes pull data directly from a Dynamic Table, so it’s easy to see how any changes in the plan would affect team capacity.
- Mapping dependencies: By integrating Lucid with Jira, I can visualize dependencies that already exist in Jira directly on my Lucid canvas in a timeline. If I adjust the dependencies or create new ones in Lucid, they’ll automatically sync back to Jira (saving me loads of time)!
