Please allow web addresses to be treated as text so that they can wrap inside a shape.
wrapping text would be essential for any link including internal ones as well not just web addresses:

A number of users at our company are also looking for text wrapping in shapes and stickies to be implemented. This feature was available in Miro and is missed in Lucid. When pasting a long line of text or a URL to a shape it doesn’t wrap within the shape. If you switch on auto-size it can make the text very small and hard to read.
I was trying to paste an output from a Linux command to keep it in my board for later reuse. The problem is that the output doesn’t contain spaces and lucid can only store it as a line that is ridiculously wide. It’s not possible to resize the text box. Pasting into a shape or a sticky note doesn’t help either - the text is not constrained to the size of the shape and is still very long. I’ve used Miro previously and it can force the text to fit the textbox, wrapping text if necessary, even if there are no spaces. I think it would be a great addition to Lucid.

There are a couple other examples of “long” pieces of text that we might need to import from other sources as stickies (or some other shape) and would like the text to wrap rather than only get shrunk down with the auto font-sizing. Presumably some combination of the two would be needed at some point.
Examples include:
- Slack channel names (can be anything from “random” to “tmp-name-of-project-subteam-private”)
- Application IDs - no spaces are allowed in these because they form part of the FQDN of the application (e.g. https://name-of-application-here.environment.domain.com)
Thank you for the additional feedback! We encourage anyone else who’s interested in this to upvote this post and share any additional details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience.
