Hi, I replied to the above related topics post, and @Phillip W recommended I post this here to get it in front of the DevOps team for consideration.

I work as part of small Legal Ops team for a large corporation (J&J). My organization (Kenvue) recently spun off from the larger mother corp. and we are developing our own ops tools and resources.

I had a lot of experience with the freeware version of LucidChart from years back in several prior roles. I have always used the product to quickly generate powerful and scalable org. charts for my teams.

In this role, as well as my past roles, I wished that we could leverage in integration with Workday so we can connect the org. charts directly to our HR dept. resources. This would save us a lot of time and efforts in having to manually update the HR data. We do plan on using the Teams integration, but in our company there is no real-time communication between Teams and Workday, mostly due to Privacy Risk concerns.

In our initial and subsequent calls with our Lucid account manager, he mentioned he believed there was a Workday integration being developed. We certainly hope that is correct! But if not, I request, and would strongly recommend it be seriously considered.

Hi @Addie ! I am a project manager for the marketing department at my company. I was wondering the same thing! A workday integration would be ideal for my companies use case. We currently have a presentable form for my peers of our org chart made in Google Slides, which is all manually updated (by me!). As you can imagine, people move around teams, get promoted, and people get hired fairly often so this is a workout for me! Ideally, I would like to use Lucid to be able to present the marketing org chart as it is much easier to navigate and make everything look more presentable. A workday integration would be awesome so the marketing org chart could update automatically with new/updated job titles and how the organization is set at that time!

I am the VP, Talent Operations and this integration would be a game changer in automation and efficiencies. We recently started using Lucidchart to build Org Chart graphics because Workday’s are awful. However, the amount of manual manipulation is inefficient when a seamless connection between the two would make producing beautiful org charts simple saving a lot of time when changes, promotions or restructuring occurs. 


This would be a great enhancement and a game changer for the Org Chart side of Lucidcharts! 


We have been using Lucid Charts for about 6 months now and are currently in the process of implementing Workday.  This would be a great addition, from our entire team’s perspective!
