I find unsaved changes in UML sequence diagram markup editor box are easily lost.

When the sequence diagram object loses focus,

  • if it happened by clicking on another object on the canvas, a dialog would prompt for saving or discarding unsaved changes. this was a recent fix and was great;
  • if it happened by clicking on the canvas itself, the editor just disappears and all unsaved changes are lost.

The second case happens a lot these days and is really disturbing. I think it’s a leftover bug. Can Lucidchart get that fixed too?

Hi! Linking this product question here. Since @Addie sent me to this thread. (Thank you Addie)

Although not related to the original concern in this thread, I wanted to add that we currently don’t have (or lost?) some styling capabilities to the sequence diagrams when using UML Markup.

I also noticed that when using a sample sequence diagram template, which is initially styled, as soon as we update the UML Markup from the template, it’s loses most, if not all, of its styling.
