Support offline creation and editing of Lucid documents on mobile

There is a gap in Lucidchart’s offline support, especially for mobile users. Providing offline diagram creation and editing—comparable to Visio or Draw.io—would significantly improve usability in low-connectivity scenarios.

You’re correct that some features in Lucid are not available offline including the following:

  • Creating new documents
  • Real-time collaboration features
  • Use of the Lucid iOS or Android app

For anyone else interested in this topic, I recommend reading through the Edit offline in Lucid article from the Help Center if you haven’t already to understand what is currently available in offline mode.
