Stop CTRL+F search from partially resetting every time it is closed then re-opened. Stop defaulting to "All pages".
When working in Lucid documents, using the CTRL+F search feature can a bit tedious. I keep getting jumped around when trying to work. When you search for content on a single page, close the search, then CTRL+F again to find something else, your setting to look for content on a “single page” is then wiped and it searches for all pages again, but it still remembers the same content you were searching for previously (which in plenty of scenarios for me does not exist anymore on the current page, therefore I get thrown into another tab on the same Lucid document when trying to research for different content on the same page I searched for content to begin with).
I am unsure if anyone else is in the same boat as I am as we all may have different use cases for Lucid documents.
What is everyone’s thoughts on either of the following?
- Stop the defaulting of “All pages” in the CTRL+F search window. Should be changed to “Current Page”.
- Remember the whole user-filled form from before and not just the content you were searching for?
- Don’t automatically jump on the initial CTRL+F and prompt the user to hit CTRL+F again with the window to commit to the search, or by pushing a search button.
If anyone has a work around, please share.
Thank you,
