Hello. Lucid cards have a dropdown menu where we can pick a status. We can add lucid cards to the dynamic table. Status is not an option we can pick when customizing a column. The closest thing is Custom Column but we have to retype all six status options. It would be a timesaver if Status was introduced as a new Column option and even Row option for dynamic tables when using lucid cards. Thank you for your time. Bye.

Hi Patrick,
I’m one of the product managers here at Lucid and my team is over the dynamic table feature. I am able to see status as an option for the dynamic table rows and columns. Have you tried adding a card to the table and then seeing if the status option appears? Typically we show the relevant row/column options for the objects are in the table.
Let me know if the “Status” option still isn’t appearing after bringing a card in!
Thanks,
Spencer Cowley
Hello. I am trying Lucid cards via an available template. The cards on the template I was using doesn’t show status as a column or row option for a dynamic table. I went back and found another template and it worked. The card from the second image where the status says “in progress” won’t show status as an option right below Line color. I changed it to any other status and same result. The green card from the third image is what worked. It brought up the status option for columns and rows on a dynamic table. The green card has a team estimation feature showing at the far right of toolbar whereas the card from the middle image didn’t. Is that what made the difference?
Thanks for the additional info - it sounds like there’s some issues with consistency in the cards and features available on our templates. Do you have the name of the templates you were using that weren’t working? I can take a look and see what the issue is.
Task Planning with Airtable is the template with the Lucid cards that don’t display a status option when added to a dynamic table. Outcome focused roadmap with Airfocus is the template with the Lucid cards that display a status option when added to a dynamic table.
The goal is to recreate a database like in Notion or xTiles or Craft but on a Lucidspark board as close as possible. So the dynamic table- even though it has the word “table” in it- is more like a board view since it can only be grouped by one property at a time along the column header. If it were more like a table view then each column could be defined by its own property from the drop-down menu shown above. One column for assignee. One column for fill color. One column for tags…
