Is there a way to permanently add custom RGB colours to the default palette so that I don't have to re-add them each time I create a new document?

Hi Amanda thanks for your post! I would recommend using Templates to achieve this by converting a document which already contains the custom RGB colours you wish to use into a template. You could then create your new documents from this template and the custom colours should appear in your palette. Hope this helps!

Being able to share shared brand colours between all documents and templates would be a useful feature.

Same for me. Corporate CI colours enforced over existing templates would be a huge timesaver and be really useful for ease of life..New Templates really isn't enough.here. Doing the same thing over and over doesn't really address the reality of companies today where easy and fast consistent CI branding on everything is a must have..

We're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to the product feedback section? Ideas submitted here are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.

Thanks for your request and I apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.

I've added a feature request. The problem with the "template method" is that it precludes the use of other templates. The only way I've found to use the (very useful) contributed templates  AND the corporate colors I am required to use is to open two templates copy the template into the corporate color template and then change all of the colors manually.

Any news on this?  It would be an extremely useful addition to the Lucid suite if we could set our own default palette(s)

Hi @TimW, thank you for continuing this post. Unfortunately, the option to apply a default colors palette to all your documents is currently not supported in Lucid.

You can apply our default styles to a document or edit each theme style to match colors required for your use-case. However, please note that changes are unique to each Lucidchart document so I would recommend creating a custom template (or corporate template) with these changes already made.

This following post also has some additional details on how to apply themes to your document:

That said, we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. I’ve gone ahead and converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.

We appreciate your willingness to provide your requests and feedback in the Lucid Community!

@Leianne C Thank you for the detailed reply, much appreciated
