However we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form? Ideas submitted to this form are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.

I'm also really interested in being able to set the default zoom -- it's especially important if you're embedding the content elsewhere like a website.

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community! With our Area Selection Publish Feature you can select an area that you wish to see when publishing.

This feature is not available however while embedding. I think this would be incredibly helpful and I would love if you would submit a feature request form so we can look a bit further into implementation of this feature. I appreciate you taking the time to let your voice be heard within our Community! Cheers!

I need this zoom feature as well.  I know that it has been submitted as a requested feature already.

Hi Darin thanks for voicing your support for this request - I've logged your feedback for review which our development team will utilize when prioritizing improvements to Lucidchart. 

We're also very interested in being able to set a default zoom and also to have the opportunity to lock zoom when changing from one page to another.

When we're linking to a different page in our Lucidchart documents using action-buttons the zoom often changes a lot. Meaning that the user experience is not nearly as good as it could have been if the zoom could only have been set to a default level.

I would also like this I have a flowchart with multiple pages and there are hyperlinks between the pages but when you click on one it doesn't automatically zoom out to give the full page view. This default zoom is exactly what I need.

I have been using Lucid Chart for about a month total over the past 3 months or so and I like a lot of the features with this but there is a problem using this tool. Just like this thread stats the zoom and location of view moves and that needs to be fixed. When using interactive links to cycle between pages the image keeps moving down slightly and if you click at total of 5 times back in forth the image keeps lowering down the page. Also the view is not always zoomed in correctly. I have try to figure out different ways to make this happen and then I found this feed. Seeing how the first request about this issue was 4 years ago and I can’t seem to see if it has been fixed. The major issue is that I can not use this tool if we can’t get this locked default view. I’ll keep messing with this for a little while longer but I hope very soon we can get this fixed before I have to start up with a different software tool.

Hi @Nate, thanks for continuing this thread. I would encourage you to upvote this feature request to indicate your support setting a default zoom - this is a valuable indicator of support for our development team. 

To help me fully understand what you’re describing, can you confirm what tool you’re using to to “cycle between the pages?” Are you using hotspots to navigate to a different page and back, and upon returning, the view (both zoom and location) are different? If you’re willing to share a “before” and “after” screenshot, that would be very helpful!

We really want this to get fixed as well.

When sharing our published file URL, users see it 4% zoom out as default. This is frustrating because we worked months on this diagrams and now they look extremely small when other people sees them for the first time, and they have to manually zoom in every time the open the link.
