I uploaded a font and found out it is a "static" font so I cannot make it bold.  I found the variable version of the font and uploaded that but it persists to use the static version.

There is no apparent option for removing uploaded fonts and only thing I found in support forum was a post from 3 years ago asking about this where they were told it is not supported and suggested to request adding this as a feature.

Since I cannot resolve font issues this way I assume that resetting my profile or user config is my only option. I searched for this and did not find any guidance.  How do I do this?

Hi David thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Apologies for the frustration you've experienced with managing your fonts.  At this time there is not a way to restore or reset your account settings thereby clearing any previously uploaded fonts. Improving custom asset management including uploading fonts is important to our development team and we certainly understand that this can have a significant impact on your workflow.

We appreciate the time you've taken here to let us know that this ability is important to you and I've logged your feedback for review by our development team. If you would like to share additional detail or context about how this impacts your work please don't hesitate to do in the thread below.

Hi Micah, I was hoping there might be an update on this feature?
I have run into an issue where we have uploaded fonts to Lucid Chart for use with our brand but had an error in them that removes spaces for all wording. Uploading the correct fonts results in the same outcome as it does not seem to replace the existing at all?

Can you please advise if there is a way to remove a uploaded font from my account.

Cheers

Ray

Hi @thomoray, thanks for your post! Unfortunately, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. I’ve also converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.

Finally, for more information on how Lucid manages feedback via this community, take a look at this post:

The following idea has been merged into this idea:

All the votes have been transferred into this idea.

Okay which “idea” do we have to upvote to get the product team to look at this after FIVE YEARS of neglect?

To be clear, it is genuinely insane that Lucid still does not support removing custom fonts. Your product team has been well aware that this is sorely needed app behavior for FIVE YEARS NOW, and the best that you’ve done is cross-link forum posts. Members of my team are running into an issue with a broken font that is a) causing massive memory leaks in web browsers such as Chrome and Safari, and b) preventing the ability to export diagrams into any non-SVG format whatsoever.

No more excuses -- what recourse do any of us have if our (revenue-generating) productivity is knee-capped by your software? Completely delete a user and have them request a new license through our provisioning portal?

Hi @hashimara, I can certainly understand the frustration here. I am seeing that you’ve submitted a private support ticket and it appears that our support team is taking care of you from there. They’ll be able to take a more detailed look at your account and the issue you’re experiencing.

You can continue to expect a quick response to your email associated with your Lucid account.
