I run a team of network engineers and we often have multi-stage or multi phase projects we implement over the course of months.  We use OneNote as a team to keep track of each step of the project, identify issues or challenges and document the steps to resolve the issues or challenges.

Often times it is convenient to reference a network diagram when describing the issues or challenges.  Currently we paste a static (png or jpeg) copy of the diagram into OneNote, but as the project progresses the diagram changes and so a new copy of the diagram needs to be created and uploaded into OneNote.

A more elegant way to combine the notes and details of the project with the diagram so that as changes are made to the notes they are dynamically updated on the diagram, or a method for linking the diagram to the OneNote page so that the diagram updates are dynamically shared with OneNote would be awesome.

One method is to share the link to the diagram in one note, but you still have to click the link to see the diagram.    I can play more with imbedding the notes into the diagram, but either way tighter integration with the Microsoft Office suite would be sweet.

Agreed!

The ability to embed a Lucidchart diagram into a OneNote notebook page would be great. Additionally, it would be especially helpful if it would stay up-to-date with any changes made, as Rick.Hopkin pointed out.

I agree - this is functionality we currently have with Visio and would love to see it added to Lucidchart.
