Per the title - tired of nudging moving locked items that then need unlocking to revert to position. Can nudging please ignore items that are locked in position?

I'm Adam, a Product Manager here at Lucid and my team has been developing and improving the nudging experience. We recently made some changes, so nudging will leave locked shapes in place instead of pushing them around.
I've attached a GIF showing the updated behavior. As you can see, locked shapes stay put while nudging still works as expected on everything else.

Thanks for this idea and for sharing your great feedback here! This is a known pain point our team is actively working on. Improving nudging behavior with locked shapes is on the roadmap, and the team has been iterating on nudging improvements over the past few months. A toggle to disable auto-nudging is also in the works, which would give you more control over this behavior altogether.
In the meantime, the best workaround is to make sure locked items are excluded from your selection before nudging — though we know that's not ideal when you're working on complex diagrams. I passed along your feedback to our development and product teams and we appreciate you taking the time to report this.

+1This impacts items that are not selected as well though, should the shape being nudged get close to them, they get nudged away as well.

I have good news! Our product team is actively working on updating nudging behavior so that locked items remain fixed in place.
We are aiming to roll out this functionality within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Thank you for raising this feature request, and stay tuned for the update soon!
