I was told via support these two types of objects are not supported by Cloud Accelerator (for auto-sync) to my Azure diagrams and to submit a request to the community:

Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible server

Container App / Container Apps Environment

Unsure what else is needed for this type of request. Thanks.

What is the level of effort for the dev team to add these objects to  be supported? If I edit the diagram in Lucidchart, the objects are there, so what is the challenge to sync them via cloud accelerator? Is there a way to see what objects do NOT sync as part of cloud accelerator? We only noticed because the resource group was empty.

@ryanf thanks for following up!

The Cloud Accelerator currently supports a defined set of resources and relationships during import as detailed in our Help Center article.

With regards to how Lucid and our product teams evaluate ideas, I recommend going through the following Community post:

Since you mentioned the objects being visible in Lucidchart, could you please provide a temporary Document Support PIN for the Cloud Accelerator document? This will allow me to have a closer look. This PIN is safe to post in this thread because it is only accessible by members of the Lucid support staff. You can find steps for generating a Support PIN in this  Help Center article

Thanks for your help and patience!

These are the objects I manually added in LucidChart. If you look in Azure portal, those objects in Lucidchart match what they are in Azure portal.

@ryanf thank you for providing this additional context!

While you can add custom shapes visually, they won’t function as Cloud Accelerator objects or participate in data syncing.

Since this is already logged as an idea, we recommend upvoting and following the thread to stay updated on any progress from the product team.

Thanks again for sharing your feedback!
