Dear all,

Is there any schedule for sharepoint integration? Our company is using Sharepoint as the document management solution so the flowchart built with Lucid need to be view edit and share in the Sharepoint.

Thank you very much.

Hi Sandra, thanks for reaching out! You can find our Lucidchart for SharePoint integration in the SharePoint in the SharePoint AppStore. Please note that this integration needs to be installed by your SharePoint admin via the SharePoint admin center. You can find install instructions in this Help Center article. Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback on the integration!

Dear Caro S.

Thank you for your prompt response. Unfortunately I recently received the following answer from your support.
Are we talking about the same content? Can we really view, edit and share lucid docs within Sharepoint without leaving Sharepoint operating interface?

Regards, Sandra

Hi Sandra,

Thanks for contacting Lucid Support! I am sorry for not being able to respond in German, and I hope I can help you in English.

At this time, while Lucid documents can be embedded in those platforms, opening them for full editing will launch the Lucid web app in a separate browser tab. Unfortunately, what you are trying to do is not currently supported in Lucid. We are continuously looking for ways to improve our products and your input is the most effective way to achieve that goal. You can post new ideas in the Lucid Community and these ideas will be shared with our Product Development team for consideration. Before sharing your idea, please explore our community to find existing suggestions. Upvote or comment to voice your support, as all feedback is channeled through our community.

For details on how feedback submissions are collected and considered, check out this Community post(in English).

We appreciate your willingness to provide your requests and feedback in the Lucid Community!

Hi @Sandra, thanks for adding to this thread! Would you mind clarifying what you are hoping to do in Sharepoint?

As described in this article, you can select the level of access users will have in SharePoint:

  • View only: Users can only view the embedded Lucid document.
  • Comment only: Users can view and comment on the embedded Lucid document.
  • Edit: Users can edit the embedded Lucid document. (there may be a few limitations - for full editing of Lucid documents you may still need to open the document within Lucid as described by our support team member in your comment above)
