I use mind maps all the time, especially with business clients when gathering requirements, or brainstorming with a group. Its the best.

HOWEVER, there are two features that are missing that drive me nuts. One makes the mind maps almost unusable to me and the other is just annoying

Getting data OUT of mind maps is nearly impossible. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to ask for a way to export a mind map into a CSV, TSV, or indented list, which is all a mind map really is anyway. I had a huge list of product requirements in a big mind map and it was so hard to get the requirements out with any kind of formatting I gave up and started over somewhere else. Please Please please please consider implementing this!!! I love Lucidchart and there aren’t very many good mind map programs.
Please fix the mind map fonts! They are stuck at 8 pt font. They ignore any font settings that I make in the tool and just stay at 8 pt font. I have to manually go back and change the font on every single node. Booooo…..

I hope you fix these!!!

In the meantime, just as a quick heads-up: Lucid currently allows you to export your mind map into a CSV. To export a mind map in Lucidchart as a CSV of shape data, click the "File" (or "More") menu in the upper-left of the workspace, hover over Export, and select CSV of Shape Data.
