While the process for onboarding accounts and generating models from the Data Hub is pretty straight forward, it requires a good deal of manual effort which is error prone and time-consuming.  It works well enough for one or two accounts, but it doesn’t scale.  I’m curious if anyone has found a way to work around this when dealing with dozens or even hundreds of accounts or models.

The API’s for Lucidchart are pretty well established and documented, but there don’t appear to be any API’s for working with the Data Hub and Lucidscale cloud processes.  If there were API’s for these functions, then we could likely automate most of the manual work out of the process, and allow the architects / explorers to focus on working with the models themselves.

Ideally, I’d think that we should be able to script the process of onboarding cloud accounts, and generating models and updates.   We could then onboard an account during the account vending process, and then when a team is ready to work with the model, we could call the model creation process as a part of their workflows.

We are relatively new working with LucidScale, so I’d like to see what others in the community think.

Thanks,

Jeff

I agree that it would be nice to expose through API or in software to initiate Model synchronization when data is updated.  Instead of having to open every Model and click Sync Model
