Currently, I can make a roadmap (timeline) Lucidspark board. This board understands I want to show things in quarters and automatically puts a line down the timeline of where we are today. When I put a JIRA card into the timeline, I can snap it into a row that I choose and then click and drag to the appropriate start and end dates. Lucid even shows me the exact date I am dragging to.

What would be the ultimate utopia and is ultimately my idea, is to have Lucid already pull the dates from the card and when I drag it into a row, it automatically puts the box into the exact date range on the timeline. And then, it moves itself as the card gets any date updates.

My effort would just be introduce the card itself and drag it into the proper row that I want it displayed it. The rest updates dynamically.

Hi, thanks for this idea! We encourage anyone else who’s interested in this to upvote this post and share any additional details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience. I’d also love to see this - if dates are mapped ahead of time, put the cards in the right spot on a custom row. If the dates are not mapped, but the cards in an “unmapped dates” section so that folks know to map the dates.

Thanks for the additional input Allison!
