Hi

I started out playing with an ERD in Lucid Chart and the initial entities had two columns. I now want to amend my existing entities in the diagram to add a third column.

At the moment I have this

but really want to convert the existing items to have the third column like this:

Is there a way that I can do this without starting from scratch on each entity ?

Cheers

Dave

Hi @IHiJump, thanks for commenting on this thread!

First, to address the linking to other posts - my apologies for the confusion! You’ll see in those comments above on this thread that those other posts have been merged into this one as the centralized thread to capture the conversation and votes. Your feedback make it to the right place! :)

Regarding the ability to freely add additional ERD columns for purposes such as your annotation use case - this isn’t currently supported, and I’m not able to confirm a timeline for possibly implementing this. If you’re willing to submit an additional feature request as a post to this Product Feedback space, we’d love to hear further details about your annotation use case and what you’d like to see in this experience. This separate request will also help us to manage that feedback separately from the built-in third column option in this thread. Thanks again for taking time to share your feedback!

Why are we only able to have three columns? Why can’t we have as many columns as we need to suit our purposes?
In addition to the key, field name, and type, I want to be able to note whether or not a field is hidden for the end-user.

3 years later, still no update for this feature
