I’m building a map of the U.S. and added Notes to some states. For california, the note icon shows in Idaho. Anyone have any tips for moving a notes icon?

Hi @jkyparissis, thanks for your post! Would you be willing to share a screenshot of what you’re seeing? If you’re referring to how the default position of the note icon is to the upper right of the shape the note belongs to, repositioning unfortunately isn’t currently supported in Lucidchart. I would recommend the workaround described in this post below, which is to create a small, transparent shape and attach the notes to that instead of your California shape. Then, you can move that small, invisible object exactly where you need it!

However, I certainly understand how the ability to simply reposition the Notes icon would be important for the diagram you’re describing - we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. I’ve also converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.
