Is there a way to disable or dismiss this prompt from showing? It’s extremely annoying to have this pop up every time I select the same group of items.

Hi @christian-xcvo13

This prompt is a feature of Lucidchart's smart layout suggestions, and currently, it cannot be disabled.

Please feel free to share your thoughts, and the product team will review them for potential future enhancements.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards

Hi @christian-xcvo13 thanks for your post! Unfortunately, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. Hi, it just keeps popping up when I select a group of items, even after I’ve applied it once already (perhaps I made minor adjustments and it’s no longer “tidy”).

However, in general, I don’t think it should surface so readily. Every other option is hidden behind the context menu, this should be there too, or at least, if you want me to know about it, show it once per selection group THEN move it to the context menu, or allow me to dismiss it permanently. Thanks for an otherwise awesome product.

Hi @christian-xcvo13, thank you for taking the time to share more feedback about the ‘Tidy up’ button. This is so valuable! Your feedback in the community is shared with product development team for research and review.

Thank you again and please let us know if you have any questions!

I would love the Tidy Up to be removed. Not only has it never once done a tidying that made my diagram look better (I always undo what it does) – but it stops me from effectively being able to select items. If I choose a box in the top and bottom left areas, and then another in the top right area – I can no longer select things in the bottom right corner, because that giant Tidy Up box is overlaying my boxes in that corner enough that they can no longer be clicked on without my zooming in. It’s very frustrating, and I wish it could be toggled off (or deleted as a feature all together). It’s really gotten in the way of my workflow. Thanks for considering.
