As some of the departments have manager while some has assistant manager as the top of the hierarchy may I know how I can visualize the tiers by placing assistant managers 1 level lower than managers?

Hi Stephanie

Thanks for posting in the Lucidchart Community! I don't completely understand the issue you're experiencing but this Help Center article provides more information on how to format your org chart. If you continue to experience trouble please provide a screenshot of the issue so I can better assist you. Thanks again!

Hope this image explains. Under some departments the top manager is of the rank 'manager'. While for some departments the top manager might be just 'assistant manager'. But I would like to visualize 'assistant managers' one tier lower. Any ways I can do this in Lucidchart?

Hi Stephanie

Thanks for getting back to me! it looks like you were able to move the Assistant Mangers to a tier below the Managers (such as the finance manager). If I understand the issue correctly you want to move the Warehouse assistant manager to align with the Logistics assistant manager. In order to do this I recommend manually moving the Warehouse Assistant Manager to their own department. Alternatively if you import data and have all the assistant managers report to a manager (you could add a manager placeholder if there is no manager) and have all the assistant managers report to the manager placeholder.

Please let me know if you have additional questions!
