How do I create an inverted org chart and import data?

Looking to create an org chart that is inverted-- want to do so from an import but doesn't seem to have an option. I have tried flipping my data but Lucid Chart wants to make it a traditional org chart. Has anyone found a way around this?

Thanks for posting in the community. I do not believe this is currently possible. However we're always looking for ways to improve. Would you mind adding your use case to our feature request form? A question for the team: why is there an “inverted org chart” template that shows a sample of an inverted org chart, but when you import your Excel spreadsheet with employees and who they report to...it spits out a regular org chart (not inverted)? If it’s not possible to do, then I would suggest removing this template.
