I wish to visual my code.. how do I do that best within Lucidchart? There is information on "dependency graphs" but I dont know how to get started to get it to read the .js file and build the chart or do I need to pull in object at a time?

Hi David

Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community!

Note that at this time it is not possible to import a js.file into Lucidchart.

In order for me to assist could you let me know a bit more about what you are trying to achieve? I understand that you would like to visualize your Javascript code but may I ask for what purpose?

Thank you!

Hi

Thanks for the update... I'd like to import code so that I could see all the functions and how the functions link up...

This is a football app so I have an updateScreen() function which is called after the GoalScored() function is run and I'd like to see these how the functions are linked or the flow of the functions.

regards

Hi David

Thanks for the additional details.

Thanks for your post! Unfortunately, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. I’ve also converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.

A feature we've implemented that is kind of similar to what you described is the possibility to create Entity Relationship diagrams from a linked data sheet. This feature allows users to automatically generate database tables and schemas using our SQL import feature showing the relationships between the different elements.

I'm sorry I'm not able to further help with your request however I'm happy to answer any question you may have!
