How do I insert gifs and videos that play automatically?

Gifs in Lucidchart
Hi wanted to share an update on this thread! We've implemented this feature request and it is now possible to insert GIFs into Lucidchart! To do so simply click on the Image icon in the Shapes toolbar on the left side of the editor and choose "GIF." You'll be prompted to choose the file you'd like to add to your canvas!
Regarding a video this is still supported - simply choose the Video option in the Shape Library manager!

We do not currently support the insertion of GIFs. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
As a workaround I recommend inserting Youtube videos. To add a Youtube video click More Shapes > Visual Content > Video. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.

what is the size limit of the gif I am getting 502 for my gif that sized at 5.9 m
+20@kaiyuan z Thanks for continuing this thread! Our size limit for GIF import is 5 MB - is it possible to trim your GIF at all and see if you have success importing under that limit?
Yes I trimed file to 4.6 mb however is still seeing the errors
