+1 on the ability to convert mermaid diagrams into editable lucid diagrams.  I use LLMs to generate starter diagrams and then want to embellish and modify them using the regular Lucid Chart experience.  This is the only way I’ve found that allows me to convert LLM output to charts.  Not being able to edit them outside of code mode limits the usability of this feature as I’m stuck with what is generated.

Using Azure DevOps means that sometimes I need to upload a Mermaid-format diagram. Embedding isn’t always feasible due to the security concerns. It would be great to be able to export in Mermaid language, at least for simple diagrams.

I am a designer/PM hybrid. My team of developers wants to be able to export the results of our work sessions - process / flow diagrams specifically - into Mermaid code, so that we can feed this into an AI to help us more efficiently work through a feature.

I created a user journey flowchart in Lucid collaboratively with my team. In accordance with our transparency value, I now want to export it to a mermaid flowchart to add it to the epic I’m working on, so it’s available publicly and we can keep our Lucid document internal.

My first thought was that I could perhaps export my diagram to e.g. Mermaid. While I realize that I would lose some data, not having to recreate the flowcharts from zero would’ve already been enough of a time saver.

I didn’t use the SVG export because it’s not accessible at all, unfortunately, because the text is stored as SVG paths.
