Hi,

All our clients have requested the ability to export their comments as a CSV so they can integrate them into their own processes or audit logs.

Currently, Lucid is unable to do this, and we have to manually export the comments—which takes a lot of time—and is forcing us to look for alternative tools.

It would be great if Lucid Spark had a feature to automatically export comments!

Hi @aoti

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community! You can export comments by exporting a CSV of shape data, is this how you are currently exporting comments?

Hi,

I would like to be able to export the metadata attached to a shape, specifically the note added, not only the name of the object.

The notes are a way of making the description of the process accessible to the consumer of the workflow. It doesn’t feel efficient to have to recapture this in another way to make it accessible in a document.

Hi @monique.thornley

Thank you for the reply to clarify, the CSV of the shape data includes shape names, shape library, text fields, and additional data. If there are comments in the document, you can also see the real-time status of a comment, the comment creator, associated timestamp, and the message included in the CSV.

However, this doesn’t meet your current needs and you’d like the option to only export comments? Is that correct?
