I have seen some users complain that LucidChart doesn't provide support for emojis. I agree it's a pain in the rear and would be a great feature. One way around this (if you don't need to do a LOT of emojis) is to download an emoji from a site on the internet like this one as a jpg and then insert it as an image into your chart. Worked for me.

Hey Ben thank you for posting in the Lucid community and sharing your workaround for adding emojis into Lucidchart! Our sincere apologies for the delayed response on this thread - I wanted to follow up in case this answer may still be useful to you and to provide a solution for other users who see this thread in the future.

Unfortunately emojis are not currently supported in Lucidchart. However they are supported in one of our other products - Lucidspark which you can learn more about in this Emoji Reactions article from the Lucidspark Help Center. We're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. I've gone ahead and submitted your request for emoji support to our product team on your behalf and it will be taken into consideration when prioritizing improvements to the product.

For anyone else with a similar request: please submit your feedback in our Product Feedback community space in order to voice additional support to our development team. We would also love to hear additional detail about your use case or see an example of what you're hoping to achieve in the thread below. Additionally if you've discovered a workaround to achieve something similar in the meantime we'd love to hear about it! Thanks for your request!

Good news to share on this thread - emojis are now supported in Lucidchart! Simply type followed by the name of the emoji you want to use. For example, :hand will open a list of all emojis containing the word hand - I’ve demonstrated this in the GIF below.
