Do you have the European resistor symbol (a block with wires going in out not a zigzag)?

Hi Darren

Thanks for posting in the community! Unfortunately, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. I’ve also converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.

Finally, for more information on how Lucid manages feedback via this community, take a look at this post:

Is there a way to see what features are already being requested?

I am using Lucid for simple wiring diagrams but Lucid has very few symbols. Things as common as a fuse for example are not in the electrical symbol library.

Hello Darren

Thanks for posting on the Lucidchart Community! You can find all of Lucidchart's default Electrical Diagram symbols by searching for Circuit Diagrams in the shape manager. The shape manager can be accessed by clicking 'M' when in the Lucidchart editor. These shapes are the only Electrical Diagram symbols included in Lucidchart at this time but you can always create custom shapes if you are unable to find a fuse shape in Lucidchart! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Good morning

I purchased this program so I could make floor plans with electrical runs for the inspector.  I haven't been able to find a chart on the program for this yet.  Looking for something like these.

Thank you so much.  If you could add these symbols for me I would really appreciate it. ~ Rock

I agree with Rock (by the way, you did a much more thorough job than I did of making this request on another post - thank you).  I had a similar thought that one could use Lucid Charts for a quick sketch tool for basic remodel plans.  Unfortunately, the electrical items are missing completely and there are too many gaps in other basic construction symbols to be workable for that purpose. I suppose one could create their own library, but that seems like a bit too much work when there are other sketch tools available that can do the job.  I use Lucid for many other things and was hoping to not have to use multiple tools for this function.

Note: I would encourage the community to not confuse electronic circuitry with electrical wiring plans.  They are completely different.

Below is an example of a very basic architectural electrical wiring diagram.

Hope this helps someone…
