Dynamic Tables - Add Jira fields to rows and columns
When creating a dynamic table for Jira issues, there are a limited number of fields that you are able to add to split the columns and rows. While the most key fields are covered, there are some that are missing. Specifically Fix Version. Splitting the table into versions would be VERY helpful.
Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris, thanks for the feedback! This is something we are currently looking into. Are there other fields outside of just fix version that you use?
Splitting stories by Epic could be nice as well.
Thanks for the feedback Chris. We actually do have support splitting stories out by Epic today in the product. For Jira Cloud this should be the “Parent” field in the dropdown:
If you are using Jira Data Center, this would show “Epic Link” in the dropdown. You will need to first add a Jira card to the table that has a Parent set or Epic Link set.
Let me know if you run into any issues getting this set up - happy to jump on a call if that would be helpful!
Thanks for the info! I had not tried to do it and was looking specifically for Epic Link. Makes sense! So no other suggestions other than FixVersion.
Perfect - thank you for the feedback Chris! If you have any other feedback related to Dynamic Tables / Jira Cards, feel free to tag me in the community post or send me a DM. I always love hearing from our users and it helps us build a better product!
@Preston H @scowley Being able to use the Labels Jira field would be helpful.
Thank you Shannon for that feedback. We appreciate it!
@scowley @Preston H It would also be very helpful to use some custom fields. For example, we have a quarter/year field that has option 2025Q1, 2025Q2, 2025Q3 etc etc. It would be nice to sort the dynamic table by this custom jira field.
Additional fields would be very helpful. For instance Target Start and End dates as well as Component and Labels.
