Date formatting

The date format for “modified” when viewing documents is in the US mm/dd/yyyy format; there should be an option to either personalise this, or the date format should be taken from regional settings.

The dd/mm/yyyy format is by far the most commonly used across the globe.

HI

I have just started using Lucid Charts and I am in the UK.

I agree the date format is not useful.

In my Recent Documents I need to easily see which ones were update and when. having MM/DD/YY can lead to mistakes.

I agree that the  date should be set by the user’s locale and not fixed to the one country that uses that format.

I see this has been mentioned for almost 2 years, it should’t take that long to fix the issue.

Thank you

Just to add weight.

I understand that the US uses MM/DD/YY format and the US may be the main market for Lucid.  For the rest of us MM/DD/YY is unfamiliar and on some days the date format is ambiguous, eg is 7/6/26 the 7th of June 2026 or 6th July 2026.

A better date code is unambigous, eg 7 Jun 26 and Jul 6 2026 are unambigous!

When can we have this change.  I was about to create an eisenhower matrix in Lucid to suppport my work but the date codes are preventing me.

Thanks!

Mark

Confirming that even now - August 2026 - this is really frustrating!
Please allow a global setting for date format.
