I frequently use UML State/Activity horizontal multi-lane pool objects for business process mapping to group lanes by teams/organisation.

Currently, the Advanced options allow you to control the orientation of the Lane text but this has no impact on the Pool orientation. I can’t use the vertical pool which would be the only way to have horizontal pool text.

Ideally, the Advanced Options should have the existing Text Orientation re-labelled to ‘Lane Text Orientation’ and include a separate option for ‘Pool Text Orientation’ with the options to amend to horizontal/vertical.

Indeed, as a workaround to what you are looking for, it is currently only possible to change the text’s orientation by changing the pool shapes’ orientation manually.
