Unfortunately, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. Is this feature going to be implemented, or should I move to using other software that supports Code Blocks such as Miro?

Hi Piotr, adding code blocks this isn’t something we currently have prioritized, but we appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback. Your feature feedback is collected by the community team and shared with our product team for review as they consider improvements and further developments to our products.

We move to Lucid from Miro and we are missing in Adswizz a lot this code block widget. Please have a look at what Miro does, it would be awsome to see something similar in Lucid.

One more vote from me as well. This is the most importat feature missing from Lucid after moving from Miro.

It is absolutely insane that code blocks are not supported. 

Just as an FYI to anyone who’s finding this - depending on your IDE and browser, you may be able to paste in highlighted code just by using ctrl+c, ctrl+v - I’m using Intellij IDEA + Chrome + Linux. It’s not as nice as being able to edit code directly, but at least you get something...

I am excited to share that we have released a new code block shape to add to your canvas! This shape will allow you to easily add code to a document and review in an easy to leverage format!

You can access the code block shape in Lucidchart by navigating to More Shapes, or in the standard shape library. In Lucidspark, go to More Tools.
