Changing shape on 400+ items

I already know that "change shape" does not work outside of the "original" shape tools which is insanely stupid!

So I am looking for another way to do this.

I have created a huge "mind map" but I didn't use the "mind map shapes" from the library and I want to change all my items to "mind map" without having to completely re-build my layout which will take weeks since the entire layout I have created contains hundreds of items.

Can I export the layout and then import it again but using"mind map" shapes?

Can you (LucidChart) do some magic on the back-end to update the layout for me?

Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! The change shape function is only available for certain libraries and for those libraries you can only change to other shapes within that same library - i.e. a mind map shape can only be changed to another mind map shape and a flowchart shape can only be changed to another flowchart shape. You can perform a mass-change of shapes by selecting all of the shaped you wish to change however the change shape feature may not have the shape you wish to change to depending on the library in use.

As for the latter questions unfortunately you cannot export and import a Lucidchart diagram in that way.
