Hi Andy thanks for posting in the community! Unfortunately at this time the aspect ratio of our sticky notes is locked and it is not possible to resize them to be rectangular. However I certainly understand how more flexibility for resizing would be useful. Would you mind adding your thoughts to this product feedback space? Ideas discussed here are passed directly onto our development team for their consideration. As a workaround if the rectangular shape is crucial I recommend resizing one of the other regular shapes available in Lucidspark to suit your needs.

I'm with Andy on this one. Rectangular resizeable post it notes would be very useful. I was very surprised when this didn't happen by default.

Yes I can just create another shape (and will do) but I was surprised and it's cost me ten minutes (at least).

I will also add it as a Feature Request Form (again another ten minutes).

I would also like to be able to adjust the height of the sticky note without changing the width. So add my name to the list. It would be very useful.

Reading Do sticky notes now have to be square? I find that I can unlock the sticky note’s Aspect Ratio and then make it rectangular! Whew! Nice.

You’re absolutely correct - I’m glad you found that post for updated information! Since this post, there have been some updates and you can change the dimensions of a sticky note by navigating to Shape options > then selecting on the padlock between ‘width’ and ‘height’ to unlock the aspect ratio and shape the sticky note how you’d like. You can always re-select this lock to re-lock the aspect ratio.
