I use Excel as the data source for shapes across multiple documents. This master dataset can be updated frequently when working on a document leading to multiple copies of the same spreadsheet. No problem so far, but at the end of the week there can be a lot of copies. The current method requires three clicks per spreadsheet to delete, plus the slight pause waiting for the action to complete.

Having the ability to select files and then delete would be useful, probably also with a select all.

A bit of an update.

This requirement may go away as if there is no need to upload the Excel spreadsheet. I have been exploring the beta feature to host the Excel on OneDrive or SharePoint Online and link to Lucid. This has the added advantage of allowing dynamic data refresh, both one way and bi-directional.

If that feature goes GA I would no longer need to upload Excel to Lucid, so there would be no need to manage the files in Lucid.

Hi @David Wilson, thanks so much for this update and additional detail!

If you are using the Excel two-way sync beta, if you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear your feedback in this thread too where our product teams are seeking feedback!
