Hello,
Long time listener, first time caller.
I wanted to ask if there has been any movement on this request to provide the complete Archimate icon set?
I am slowly moving over to Lucidchart from Visio Professional, but there are a number of gaps, and I am being forced to either split my time or drop lucidchart as the main productivity/diagramming tool.
I find that I cannot use your Architmate shapes, simply for the reason you have only implemented “half” of the modelling language. Where is the Strategy layer?
Without the Strategy layer (that includes Business Capabilities), I cannot specify which business capabilities group what business services.
So I am missing a big piece of “Business Architecture” - meaning I cannot use Archimate on Lucidchart.
We are implementing ServiceNow APM - and are able to integrate into Lucidchart - but we are holding off as your Archimate “sets” are incomplete. As such we are using Lucidchart less and less.
Would you be able to help set some expectations and have any updates whether Archimate is to be provided in full ?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Kind regards,
Mark
Hi Mark, thank you so much for taking the time to write this thoughtful request. I certainly understand how fully availability of these shapes would make a significant difference in your workflow. I will raise this to our product team internally to obtain more context about the timeline and possibilities here, and be sure to update this thread!
In the meantime, I wanted to share this thread with you, where others are requesting the same thing. This thread also includes a link to a repository of SVGs of Archimate shapes, which you can import into Lucidchart as a custom library for use in all of your documents. I hope this is helpful in the meantime.
