AI in Lucid - We Need Your Feedback!

Hi Lucid Community we are excited to announce a new way for you to increase your efficiency and productivity when working with others in Lucid - Collaborative AI!

By incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities across the Lucid Suite our products will help you unlock the power of divergent thinking be more creative and innovative and get more done in less time. Overall our goal is to provide the following capabilities to your teams with Collaborative AI:

Unlock the power of divergent thinking: identify patterns and connections foster inclusivity and diversity when problem solving and facilitate collaboration between teammates with different perspectives.
Supplement your team’s thoughts by sparking additional ideas and trying to cover all angles: leverage vast data to identify unnoticed problems capture a wider range of perspectives and ideas and reduce cognitive bias when identifying key themes.
Increased productivity and efficiency across teams: automate time-consuming tasks allocate resources effectively and free up time for creativity and innovation.

Our goal is for Collaborative AI to integrate seamlessly into your workflow in these ways and we want to understand what would make this experience powerful and useful for you. Hello,

Is there a timeframe for the implementation of Generative Wireframes? In particular, I would be interested in supplying a base wireframe into the prompt to generate variations, such as different UX scenarios. Another useful feature would be to use it to generate a wireframe displaying a data grid (table), filled with random data/lorem ipsum, which I find particularly laborious manually.

I am currently trying to use the Lucid AI to create a map off of a summary that was created from a recent meeting that discussed our organizations current systems and integrations. Has anyone else tried to do something similar? It does not appear that the AI has this ability at this point.

That’s an interesting use case - would you mind elaborating a bit on what type of diagram you’re hoping to create based on your meeting summary?

I tested this out on my end using an AI-generated example of a meeting summary, asking Lucid AI to create a mind map, and it appears to work for me. It looks like a good starting point for a diagram, but I’d love to learn more about what you’re hoping to do!

I also wanted to add a link to a recent update on new AI features in Lucid that were recently shared during the Lately @ Lucid webinar!

Regarding the UI, the floating prompt refinement panel is blocking parts of my diagram that I eagerly want to view. The only way to move it is to resize and pan the image around. The only way to get rid of it is to dispel it, which then prevents further refinement.

Can the refinement dialog just be an extension of the left-anchored panel instead of its own floater? At least I need 1) to move it around, 2) re-instantiate it if I close it so I can further refine my model. Thanks!

From an Accessibility stand-point the prompt panel should be consistently placed in the same location time after time to create predictability of the interface for disabled users. Randomly floating in various locations is not ideal. Think of the Quick Analysis button that is in Microsoft Excel, it always appears at the lower-right corner of content when it is relevant to display (like after a series fill). This allows the user to quickly find the feature. Another approach would be to implement the side-pane model that MS Office uses where the panel predictably opens on the right hand side of the interface.
