I was surprised to find that I cannot add a link to a line. In my diagrams, the lines indicate data flow between systems and there’s a lot of information that belongs to the lines that I would like to be able to link to.
Could that functionality be added to Lucidchart?

I would like to also share a workaround that you may find useful in the meantime. You can add a transparent, small shape to your diagram (perhaps with the same dimensions of your line), add the link to it, and position it over your line. This way, it won’t be visible, but still replicate the function of clicking on the line to reveal more information. I’ve added an example of this in my screenshot below:
