I work with Lucidchart primarily and use the “Diagram as code” feature extensively (Mermaid diagrams).
The built-in text editor is very limited by the size of the left side bar when creating diagrams from code (about 53 characters).
I’d like the ability to extend the side bar further so that the text editor can accommodate lines of at least 100 characters.
If you believe this is a problem unique to the “Diagram as code” feature (it may very well be), then any other solution that accommodates a wider text editor for that feature would be great (e.g., the ability to open diagram text editors in a separate window, or similar capability).
