Hi Priteshostwal,

It looks like there’s a bug in the Rust MCP client library. We’re working on a workaround.

Thanks for reporting this!  We believe we found and fixed the issue.  Could you try connecting the Lucid MCP server to Codex again, and let us know if it’s working for you now?

Looks like now its working, But got another problem

What I cannot do cleanly through this MCP:

  • use Lucidchart’s native Azure shape library/stencil directly
  • drag/drop Microsoft Azure SVG icons into the Lucid canvas the way a human would in the UI

Why:

  • the lucid_create_diagram_from_specification tool supports Lucid standard shapes and layout primitives
  • it does not expose Lucid’s Azure library picker/stencil browser

Thanks for the feedback.  That’s a known limitation right now, but we’re looking to add those shapes soon!
