My sharable link is Grayed out. Why?

There could be various reasons why a shareable link appears greyed out/inactive. The type of subscription you work with may have specific settings set by your admin which may prevent you from sharing a document. It can also be that you are trying to share a document which owner is not you and that has sharing restrictions.
