Unable to login in using Chrome today.

Version 131.0.6778.109 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Deleted all lucid site cookies and also tried icognito mode with no luck.  Login works with edge browser.

Hi @gwhennessy

It seems you're encountering an issue specific to logging into Lucidchart via Chrome. Since you've already cleared Lucid site cookies and tried Incognito mode, here are some additional steps you can take to resolve the problem:

  1. Update Chrome

    • Ensure your Chrome browser is updated to the latest version.
      • Go to Settings > About Chrome to check for updates and install the latest version.
  2. Disable Browser Extensions

    • Some extensions, such as ad blockers or privacy tools, may interfere with the login process.
      • Disable extensions by going to Settings > Extensions or typing chrome://extensions/ in the address bar. Restart Chrome and try logging in again.
  3. Clear Cached Data

    • Beyond cookies, clearing cached data can often resolve login issues.
      • Navigate to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data.
      • Select Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data, then clear for All Time.
  4. Check Chrome Settings for Third-Party Cookies

    • Ensure that Chrome is not blocking third-party cookies, as they may be necessary for login.
      • Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Other Site Data.
      • Select Allow all cookies or ensure Block third-party cookies is disabled.
  5. Reset Chrome Settings

    • Resetting Chrome to its default settings can help resolve persistent issues.
      • Navigate to Settings > Reset and Clean Up > Restore settings to their original defaults.
      • Note: This will disable all extensions and reset your home page and search engine.
  6. Flush DNS Cache

    • Open Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac) and type:
      • ipconfig /flushdns (Windows)
      • dscacheutil -flushcache (Mac)
    • Restart your computer and try logging in again.
  7. Test on a Different Profile

    • Create a new Chrome profile by clicking your user icon in the top-right corner and selecting Add Profile. Log in to Lucidchart from the new profile.
  8. Contact Lucid Support

    • If none of the above steps work, reach out to Lucid Support with details about the issue, including:
      • Your Chrome version.
      • Steps you’ve already taken to troubleshoot.
      • A screenshot or description of what happens when you attempt to log in.

Since you mentioned that the login works with Edge, this indicates the issue is browser-specific. If the problem persists, using Edge as a temporary solution while resolving the Chrome issue might be the most practical option.

Hope this helps
