I'm currently facing some challenges with a system I'm using and would appreciate any guidance or tips you can offer. Specifically, I'm struggling with the following:

  1. Replicating Layouts: How can I copy the layout of employee fields so that they are consistently replicated across all sheets?
  2. Applying Conditional Formatting: Is there a way to apply conditional formatting to all sheets at once, rather than having to do it individually for each sheet?
  3. Duplicating Org Chart Formatting: We have created an org chart with extensive formatting for one team. How can we create a new diagram for another team while maintaining the same formatting?

Here are some tips:

  1. Replicating Layouts:
    Create a template sheet with the desired layout and copy it to other sheets. Alternatively, use cell references to maintain layout consistency.

  2. Applying Conditional Formatting:
    In Excel, use Format Painter or select multiple sheets to apply rules. In Google Sheets, apply conditional formatting to a range across sheets.

  3. Duplicating Org Chart Formatting:
    Copy the org chart and paste it into another sheet while retaining formatting. For dynamic charts, ensure the data source is updated correctly.
