Setting up SAML. I cannot find where to assign a test user in order to test the SAML connection.

These are the instructions, but not finding an “assign” option: You can assign the app to users in the Assignments section of the app page. To do so, navigate to “Users and Groups” on the left hand side and click Assign. Assign”

Hi @jgcombard, thank you for posting in the community! That’s a great question, you will need to assign a user to the Lucid application within your identity provider (not the Lucid admin panel).

If a user is not assigned to the application, they will not be able to log into Lucid via SAML.

I hope this helps. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @jgcombard

To set up SAML and assign a test user for Lucidchart, give a try with the steps below -

First, log in to your Lucidchart account as an administrator and navigate to the "Team" menu at the top.

From there, access "Applications" and select "Manage SAML" to configure SAML settings.

In the "SAML Authentication Settings" dialog, enable SAML authentication, enter your domain, and upload your identity provider's metadata file. Additionally, select "Automatically Add new users to the team" to streamline user management.

Finally, save your changes to complete the setup.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
