We are in the process of migrating our current Lucid team to another team. We want to make this a smooth transition. Let's take this example below.

We have two different teams mapped to two different domains: Team Apples (apples.domain) and Team Bananas (bananas.web).

John Doe has a Lucid Enterprise account on Team Apples with the email address jdoe@apples.domain. John also has an email address of jdoe@bananas.web. A Lucid Enterprise account has not been created for the jdoe@bananas.web address yet.

John needs to be able to migrate from Team Apples to Team Bananas but must join Team Bananas using their bananas.web email address.

Would the following allow for John to join the other team with the correct email address and not lose their documents?

  1. John changes the email address of jdoe@apples.com on Team Apples to jdoe@bananas.web.

  2. John is sent an invitation to jdoe@bananas.web to join Team Bananas.

  3. John accepts the invitation to switch teams.

How would this affect access to Team Folders on Team Apples? Would the Team Folders need to be recreated on Team Bananas and then manually migrate the documents over?

Thanks!
