The legacy EU Data Center is being deprecated. In it’s place, Lucid now offers a global data residency on which you can determine which region your account is on. To learn more, check out our Global data residency for Lucid article.
As a part of this EU Data Center deprecation, the following Microsoft Teams integrations are being deprecated: "Support Pack for Lucidchart" and "Support Pack for Lucidspark". These integrations’ features are still contained in "Lucidchart for Teams" and "Lucidspark for Teams” apps.
To prevent losing data before switching over to the “Lucidchart for Teams” and “Lucidspark for Teams” apps, a Microsoft Teams admin needs to follow these steps:
- Enable "Lucidchart for Teams" and "Lucidspark for Teams" apps to your Team's Tenant App catalog. The steps to do so are outlined in our Integrate Lucid with Microsoft Teams help center article.
- Make sure to transfer any account settings to the new apps.
- Notify your users that tabs added using the "Support Pack for Lucidchart" and "Support Pack for Lucidspark" will be removed when these apps are removed from your tenant’s app catalog.
- Either pre-install and pin the correct Lucidchart and Lucidspark integrations in Microsoft Teams for your entire account (as explained in this article) or tell your users to install the "Lucidchart for Teams" and "Lucidspark for Teams" apps and re-add at risked tabs (as mentioned in the warning below).
- Remove "Support Pack for Lucidchart" and "Support Pack for Lucidspark" apps from your Team's Tenant App catalog.
- Warning: All tabs made using these apps will be removed.
