I am building a diagram  for resources in one of the unsupported regions. Since it is unsupported, I had to load the data from a JSON file generated from the Lucid CLI script. I see the resources and all the standard views load fine.

I tried to modify the Structure of the “Summarized Infrastructure” view so that it would include the Availability Zone but the diagram does not change to reflect the AZs within the region. I expected the view and used on a data source in one of the supported regions and it performed as expected.

It seems like a bug to me that the Structure understands the region but doesn’t appear to be able to parse out the AZs within it, even if it is an unsupported region. At the parsing level these are just strings with a letter at the end.

Hi @Adrian D., thank you for posting in the community! I’m checking this behaviour with the relevant team and will share more information here as soon as I have more details.

In the meantime, could you please share the temporary Support PIN for this model? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing.

For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article. This Support PIN doesn’t allow anyone but Lucid Support to take a look at your document, so you are safe to post it here.

Let me know if you have any questions, thank you!

@Leianne C I sent you a PM with the code, let me know if you are able to uncover anything. Thank you

Hi @Adrian D., thank you for sharing the PIN. Would you mind also confirming which unsupported region you are working with?

For the availability zones that are not appearing correctly, can you please share a brief description of the issue and what you expect to see? For example, do you expect to to see the unsupported region in the list in the left panel, or are you expecting the AZ (dashed line container) to appear in the model when enabled?

This information will help us take a closer look at the issue you’e experiencing. Thanks!

Sure, the region is “me-central-1”.

I am expecting to see the resources within the VPC split up into rows by the availability zone. I have included an example below from a diagram built in the eu-central-1 region.

Thank you for sharing that @Adrian D.! I’ve passed this information on to our Lucidscale team and will update this thread as soon as I hear back. Feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions in the meantime.

Hi @Adrian D., thank you for your patience as I confirmed this with our Lucidscale team. I’ve heard back form the team and it looks like this is happening because we currently do not map any middle-east regions on the front end.

Our team is taking a further look into this and I will update this thread as soon as I have more to share.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions in the meantime!

Hi @Adrian D., I’ve heard back from our Lucidscale team and it looks like this issue should now be fixed. Could you please give it a try again and let us know if the AZ is still not appearing as expected? Thanks!
