I have a few users that have left our organization. I have removed their Lucid license and transferred their content to another user. However, their account remains in the organizational group.

If I understand it correctly, they may then still have limited access to some documents. Is this right?

How do I remove them from the group?

Should I just delete the account?

Hi @ryan_taylor

When a user remains part of an organizational group in Lucidchart, they may still retain limited access to certain documents.

  • To revoke this access, administrators can remove the user from the group by following these steps. Start by logging into the Lucidchart Admin Panel and navigating to the "Users" section. Locate the user in question, click on the dropdown menu next to their licenses, and select "Edit."
  • Within their profile, identify the relevant organizational group and remove the user.
  • Same time deleting the user's account is also an option, but it's a more extreme measure that may be unnecessary.

Simply removing the user from the group should effectively restrict their access to sensitive documents.

Hi @ryan_taylor!

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community!

After removing a license from a User, they become a Limited Access User. If you have transferred their documents from their User, they will no longer be able to view these documents. If you would not like them to access your Account at all, I suggest deleting their User. You can achieve this following the steps outlined in this Help Center article.

Alternatively, here are the steps to remove a User from an Organizational Group.

Hope this helps!
