We are currently converting Gliffy diagrams to Lucid. These conversions are all being performed by end users on pages in Confluence.

When they follow the instructions , they get the error:

“An error occurred. Please reload the page and try again.
If the problem persists, contact Lucidchart support.”

Upon inspection, we’re seeing HTTP 502 errors to https://lucid.app/ac/confluence/gliffyConversion

I’ve logged a support call for it as this appears to be something outside our control.

Has anyone else experience this?

Hi Greg, thank you for contributing to the Lucid Community. I see that you also opened a support ticket and we will work with you there to troubleshoot this issue.

For anyone else with a similar issue, start by reviewing our Gliffy to Lucidchart Mass Conversion article from the Lucidchart Help Center.

Here are a couple of issues that we consistently see:

  • If the conversion seems to be stuck or unfinished it is possible the conversion was finished, but the status was not updated. Navigate to the page to check if the diagram was actually converted.
  • Confluence treats the Lucidchart add-on as a user. This means for the add-on to access your Gliffy resources it must have the correct permissions. Be sure to check the space permissions to make sure any space or page that wholesale fails to convert is opened to the Lucidchart “user”.
