I am trying to determine if "admins" can limit the creation of folders in the LC environment whether it be a team folder or subfolders within teams.  

Thank you for contributing to the Lucid Community! While any Lucid user can organize their documents into folders on their My Documents page - admins on Enterprise accounts can restrict the creation of Team Folders to "admins only" from the admin panel. For more details on this setting please refer to the below section from The Admin Panel: Collaboration Settings article from the Lucid Help Center.


Team Folder Setup (Enterprise only)


By default all users in your organization will be able to create Team Folders.



To restrict Team Folder creation capabilities to admins only follow these steps:



  1. Click Team folder setup from the dropdown under Collaboration in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select “Allow only admins to create Team Folders”.

  3. Enter the admin name email phone number or weblink in the text box.

  4. Click Save Changes.


Yes I am aware that the team folders can be controlled with admin privileges' but my question was can we limit the creation of subfolders under these teams.  In other words no folder creation by any user other than admins.

Unfortunately this is not possible. However we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that.
